Yuksom: Yuksom is a historical town in Geyzing subdivision of West Sikkim district in the Northeast Indian state of Sikkim. Yuksom is the entry point of the Khangchendzonga National Park. Yuksom is the base camp for various trekkers and the mountain climbing course organized by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.
Kanchendzonga National Park: The Kanchendzonga National Park is situated in the North District of Sikkim. There are many glaciers in the park area. Amongst them the Zemu Glacier is the longest and most awesome. The lofty Mt. Kanchendzonga which literally means 'Abode of Gods consisting of five Treasure Houses' including the five peaks are Narshing , Pandim, Simvo, Kabru and Siniolchu.

Airport: The nearest airport from Pelling is Bagdogra Airport.
Railhead: The trains generally come into either New Jalpaiguri or Siliguri. From there, visitors may proceed to Pelling by "Toy-Train" or bus or taxi, Limo Van or Land Rover to Pelling.
Road Transport: Pelling is connected with all weather metaled road with Siliguri, Kalimpong, Gangtok etc.
