Enjoy with Oldest Forest Destination at DOOARS



Dooars is far away from urban madness. It will come fresh but remote for those coming for the first time.Lying in the Himalayan foothills it is a place where you can enjoy the whole beauty of northbengal. Neora Valley National Park: It is situated in the kalimpong and located in a woody forest area near lava.This is a most popular picnic spot because its pollution free area. Its floral diversity is noteworthy with mixed species of rhododendrons, bamboo, sal etc. along with several species of orchids. The faunal diversity is also rich with species like common leopard, clouded leopard, Himalayan Thar, black bear, civet and red panda to name a few, but it is most famous for its rich diversity of birds and is a major attraction for bird-watchers.


Gorumara National Park: It is situated on the banks of river murti.The most enjoable things are you can see here rhinos and bisons huddle togethrt to lick salt. Methla Watchtower is located at Kalipur eco village near Ramsai on the eastern fringe of Gorumara National Park. There are unique Bullok cart driven forest safari available here.


Bindu: Bindu is only 107 km from Siliguri.Bindu is a conglomeration of different aborigines. The peace loving people of Bindu are engaged either in Elaichi or Suntala cultivation. Bindu offers several short treks in the lower Kalimpong hills. The most popular one starts from Todey to Tangta and leads towards Nerora Valley National Park.


Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary: The Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at the foothill of Eastern Himalayas on the bank of river Torsa in West Bengal. The vast grassland with patches of riverine forests was declared a sanctuary in 1943 for protection of the great variety of flora and fauna. This wildlife forest has the largest concentration of the endangered Asiatic one horned Rhinoceros in India after Kaziranga.


Samsing: With its orange orchards and cardamom plantations, Samsing is an unspoilt mountain destination that is growing in popularity among tourists.The speciality of tea is most pleasurable.
